OMGGGG you guys. I literally cannot breathe right now. My hands are shaking so bad typing this. I just witnessed the most INSANE moment of my entire LIFE and I HAVE to word vomit it all out right now or I will actually explode. So. You all know I have season tickets. Row 12, right behind the home dugout. I see everything. But NOTHING could have prepared me for what happened tonight. It was the 89th minute. The game was tied 1-1. The energy was so tense, you could feel it in your teeth. And then... it happened. Josh Ventura gets the ball just past the halfway line. He starts running. And when I say running, I don't mean normal running. It was like he was gliding. The way he weaved through those two defenders... it was like they were moving in slow motion. My bestie Sarah literally GRABBED my arm and her nails are now permanently embedded in my skin, I don't even care. He gets to the edge of the box and this HUGE defender comes sliding in.
