Walkersville got 2 goals from Isabel Vanderau and 1 goal each by Tatiana Fernandez,Noel Harris,Cece Atadika, Megan Fitzgerald and 2 goals from Isabel Vanderau to beat Clear Spring 6-1.

Girls won the Interstate Classic (Overall) and the Large school division for the 7th consecutive year. The Boys team also won the Open and Large school division. Cameron Martinez and Devon Boyle both placed second in their respective races.

Ann Kehr threw a long touchdown pass of 60 yards in the final minute of the game to Emma Norris for the game tying touchdown followed by a QB sneak for the 1 point conversion. Clear Spring snuck out a victory behind a stifling defense that had 3 interceptions. 1 interception by Saemyriah Grimes and 2 by Kayiah Evans. Saemyriah had the final interception of the game that sealed the game score of Clear spring 7 Williamsport 6.

Brunswick Boys JV Baseball played Clear Spring Boys JV Baseball 4/24/25. Brunswick and Clear Spring both with winning records and both were beating the competition in dominating fashion. Brunswick held off Clear Spring in the top of the first with Berrett Ellison starting on the mound for Brunswick. The scoring started after Owen Nugent walked, Dillon Murphy got hit by a pitch, and Brandon Webber bunted to move the runners over while also reaching first base. Mason Barry was up to bat and walked to score the first run of the game for Brunswick. Bases were loading for Max Foltz who went down 0-2 early in the at bat, but hit a sacrifice fly to score Dillon Murphy to bring the lead to two for Brunswick. Brandon Webber scored on another sacrifice fly and Jack Wilt reached base on a walk. Runners were at first and second with two outs with Carter Metz at the plate. Carter swings and drives a pitch to deep left field and it falls in the gap allowing Barry and Wilt to score and Metz gets to third with a triple. That would be the end of the first with Brunswick up 5-0. Berret Ellison pitched two shutout innings and Kaleb Thomas for Clear Spring settled in and didn't let up another run for Clear Spring. The Blazers got to Ellison in the top of the third where Ellison gave up one earned and one unearned run on three hits. Riley Mowen drove in two more runs for Clear Spring to bring the lead within one. The game came down to the last out but Clear Spring made an illegal sub causing the player to be out and for the game to be over. Brunswick held on to win 5-4 over the Clear Spring Blazers.

The Walkersville Boys had to wrap their match up against Clear Springs today because of the weather from yesterday. The boys ppulled out a tight 3-2 win with victories at 2nd singles, 2nd doubles and 3rd doubles. Before the weather took a turn yesterday, the boys were down 1-2 with a victory at 2nd singles, Evan Boledovic, 6-1 6-1. At 1st single, Sid Parandapalli lost a tough match, 3-6 3-6. At 1st doubles, Adi Gujalwar and Lucas Munro lost their match 1-6 3-6. On the second day with Clear Springs coming back to Walkersville, 3rd doubles of Jimmy Froude and Lukas Holler were able to win their match 6-4 6-3. At 2nd doubles, the team of Henry Van Orden and Jordan Bosco were able to clinch the match with a tight 3-set win, 5-7 6-2 10-8. 1st Singles: Ernst (CS) d. Ak Whitby led the Lions with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Dylan White and James Stier each had 11 points.

Brunswick men's varsity basketball played Clear Spring men's varsity basketball Friday night 1/24/25. Brunswick started off hot, going out to a 7-0 lead, but Clear Spring took the first punch and got back up swinging. Clear Spring made it close at the end of the first quarter with Brunswick keeping a seven point lead at 13-6. Clear Spring came out in the second and made a statement. They went 8-0 run, taking the lead 14-13. Clear Spring had all the momentum until Brunswick showed up again, Brunswick made a defensive and offensive stand. Brunswick held Clear Spring to only five more points the rest of the quarter while scoring 22 points to make the score 35-19 at halftime. Clutch three's came from Jacob Genos and Aaron Birney, with Mark Cooke also helping to propel Brunswick's lead. After the second quarter Brunswick didn't let off the gas making it 59-26 at the end of the third and the final score was 69-41 Brunswick. Aaron Binery and Jacob Genos led the way for Brunswick with 13 each, points also came from Jackson Dudley, Mark Cooke, Mark Yongbi, Nick Martines, Eli Miller, Brady Renn, Tyrone Lee, Andrew Jones, and Kai Mancell.

Chris Adueni had the lone goal. Brady Barnes had 5 saves in the shutout win.

Clear Spring High School girls’ volleyball came up on top in the Class 1A Championship, winning against Washington County opponent Smithsburg. This was only the fourth ever time that there were two Washington County teams in the final championship. The Clear Spring Blazers won the first set, giving them an immediate morale and physical advantage. The Smithsburg Leopards were able to secure the second set, making the match back and forth, followed by the Blazers winning the third and fifth set and the Leopards winning the fourth. Smithsburg came in with the regular season win (3-0) and was hoping for the same results in the playoff championship. The matches were nothing short of intense and competitive, playing out in five sets to have a final of 3-2. The match had both the Leopards and the Blazers on top throughout the entirety. There were a total of 14 lead changes, 21 ties, 106 kills and 205 digs. This led the game to come down to the final moments, and who was able to play as a complete team to pull out the win. The Blazers were able to win the final set in order to give them their fifth ever state title. This rebound win shows the heart and hustle the Clear Spring Blazers came in with during the championship.
