After trailing the Falcons for much of the game, the Owls showed resilience and determination, finding their rhythm when it mattered most in the fourth quarter to secure the win. The Owls struggled in the first half, committing several turnovers that allowed the Falcons to capitalize and build momentum by converting on key opportunities. Despite these early challenges, the Owls remained composed and made adjustments coming out of halftime. Their defense tightened, limiting the Falcons’ scoring chances, while the offense began to move the ball more efficiently. In the final quarter, the Owls attacked the basket with confidence, knocking down crucial shots and making timely plays down the stretch. This late surge ultimately shifted the momentum in their favor and propelled the Owls to a hard-fought victory.

Westminster couldn’t find the offensive rhythm they needed against a strong NDP team. The Blazers brought their A-game on the road, showing balance on both offense and defense. The Owls had trouble finding the basket for much of the night, missing several shots they’ll wish they could have back. Westminster ultimately fell short to NDP, dropping their record to 1–2 on the season. The Lady Owls will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they hit the road to take on the Knights. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
