On Thursday September 12th, the Rockville High School Girls Varsity soccer team defeated the Springbrook High School Girls Varsity by 9-1 with their teamwork and immense dedication. In the first half of the game the rams kicked it off with six goals, the blue devils scoring one goal. The Rams scored three goals in the second half. Freshman goalies on both sides of the field making excellent saves throughout the game. Special Highlight to briefly fill in for goalie Amy Lennom, who stepped in at the end of first half due to mild injury to Rockville High School Goalkeeper Andrea Hernandez Melendez. Amy was an incredible player in all her positions, scoring two goals for the Rockville Rams on top of making some excellent saves. More great players were Senior Anastasia Dakoulas, Sophomore Saniyah Belliel, and Junior Damaris Cabrera, all scoring two goals each for the Rockville Rams. Senior Dayra Guillen also scored one point for the Rockville Rams and Senior Tatiana Holland scored one point for the Blue Devils. Next game with the Rockville Rams will be September 23rd at 7:15 against the Poolesville Falcons
