With 13 players earning post-season awards this past season, Kent Island field hockey had lots of talents all over the field. The team had a record of 7-5 going into the postseason, going 3-3 in conference play putting them in third place. Unfortunately, making it to the regional final, Kent Island was defeated by Queen Annes County (1 seed) 0-1. This being the first season since 2014 that Kent Island was not the top seed in their conference, the team is looking to get back on track and earn their spot back at the top. With Head Coach Laura Harding, the Buccaneers will have great coaching and experience to lead them to their goals. With half of the players earning the post-season awards returning this upcoming season, the team is looking to lean on experience to set the tone and make a run fall 2024.
