In a tightly contested matchup, CSD held off Patterson Mill for a dramatic 61–60 victory, with the game coming down to the final possessions. CSD carried a slim 33–32 lead into halftime and managed to maintain just enough separation in the second half to secure the win. CSD was led by a balanced offensive effort highlighted by Pinder’s game-high 20 points and Hall’s strong performance with 14 points. Wilson added nine points while Perkins contributed eight to help pace the offense. Thomas and Williams each finished with four points, and Lurans chipped in two. Patterson Mill was powered by a dominant scoring performance from Hammond, who poured in 31 points to lead all scorers for the Huskies. Luddy added 14 points, and Kropp contributed 13 to keep Patterson Mill within striking distance throughout the game. Kai Gibson added two points. The game remained close from start to finish, with neither team able to create significant separation.
