Ally Underwood made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Underwood was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. In other batting news, Abby Marmen was excellent, going 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sara Frist was another key player, earning one RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases.

Patterson Mill fell to North Harford 10-17 in the Huskies' first game of the regular season. Senior, Gavin Voelker had 17 saves in goal. Freshman, Nathan Sulkowski had 3 goals and 1 assist in his first high school game. His brother Tyler Sulkowski and fellow junior Cole Christian both had 2 goals and 2 assists. This was followed by two assists from Senior Jack Reid and one goal each from Ronan McCoy (Junior), Roberto Acenszi (Senior), and Brady Quinn (Senior). Huskies look to bounce back tomorrow for another home matchup vs Aberdeen.
Peter Weber got the win, and Brycen Hunter got the save on the combined 6 hitter. Freshman Nick Redmile goes 2 for 2 with 2 doubles in his first varsity game scoring three runs. Logan Scheeler drove in 3 runs to help pace the Huskies offense with Dallas Anderson and Mason Hemelt also driving in critical RBI’s. Reese Connely took the loss, walking 5 and striking out 9 in 3.1 innings of work.
In a tightly contested matchup, CSD held off Patterson Mill for a dramatic 61–60 victory, with the game coming down to the final possessions. CSD carried a slim 33–32 lead into halftime and managed to maintain just enough separation in the second half to secure the win. CSD was led by a balanced offensive effort highlighted by Pinder’s game-high 20 points and Hall’s strong performance with 14 points. Wilson added nine points while Perkins contributed eight to help pace the offense. Thomas and Williams each finished with four points, and Lurans chipped in two. Patterson Mill was powered by a dominant scoring performance from Hammond, who poured in 31 points to lead all scorers for the Huskies. Luddy added 14 points, and Kropp contributed 13 to keep Patterson Mill within striking distance throughout the game. Kai Gibson added two points. The game remained close from start to finish, with neither team able to create significant separation. Patterson Mill trailed by just one point at halftime and continued to battle in the second half, but CSD’s timely scoring helped them hold on for the narrow one-point victory. -Jeroud Clark

Patterson Mill earned a decisive 61-31 win over Havre de Grace, taking control early and leading 30-16 at halftime. The Huskies had four players in double figures, led by Luddy with 13 points. McLaughlin, Kropp, and Hammond each added 19. Washington finished with three, while Teal and Fling scored two apiece. Lawerence paced Havre de Grace with 14 points, and Gamy added seven. Patterson Mill’s strong defense limited the Warriors to just 15 second-half points to seal the victory. Elkton led 33–25 at halftime and maintained its edge down the stretch despite a strong second-half push from Patterson Mill. Hammond led the Huskies with 25 points, while Kropp added 15 and McLaughlin finished with 11. Luddy scored 4 and Washington added 2. Elkton was paced by KJ Minter’s 21 points. Dominik W. scored 11, Kabali K. added 10, and Kenny C. contributed 8. Zibri M. finished with 6, while Makye M. and IJ Y. each had 2. Patterson Mill defeated Edgewood to win the UCBAC championship 47-39 and improve to 21-2 on the season. The huskies found themselves down 23-9 after the first and down 17 at one point in the first half. We cut the lead to 8 by the break and the huskies outscored the rams 18-2 in the 4th quarter to seal the victory. The huskies were led by a pair of underclassmen. Sophomore Sophia Marchena led all scorers with 17 points and freshman Anthi Nezis added 15 points. Once again senior Sophia Trinh was a difference maker defensively with 5 steals. -Coach Burrows
