Patterson Mill High School defeated Eastern Technical High School 4–1 — margin of 3.
The Huskies took a few minutes to find their rhythm against a talented Eastern Tech team, but once they settled in, they began to move the ball effectively against Tech's tough defense. Just over nine minutes into the game, Eliza Lyman delivered a beautiful pass to Samantha Wright, who slotted it past the Tech goalkeeper to open the scoring. However, Eastern Tech quickly responded with a 25-yard shot that went just over the outstretched arms of Husky keeper Ella Shriner to even the score. Despite the setback, Ella recovered quickly, finishing the game with seven outstanding saves. With 16 minutes remaining in the first half, Samantha Wright netted her second goal, this time from the penalty spot, with a composed, well-placed shot. The Huskies weren't done yet. Just six minutes before halftime, Josie Baldwin set up Olivia Wheeler inside the 18-yard box, where Olivia made a few skillful moves before scoring a brilliant goal to make it 3-1 at the break. In the second half, the Huskies added one more goal, and another penalty kick, this time converted by Eliza Lyman with a perfectly placed shot past the Tech goalkeeper. Kendall Brown led the defense, with strong support from Hilary Poling, Maddie Wlodarczyk, and Sarah Muller, along with the midfielders and forwards, as they shut down any further threats from Eastern Tech.
