Game MPSSAA Class 1A Girls Soccer States of round Round 3

Last night the South Carroll girls varsity team made history by winning their first state title in school history. Going into their state final game the Lady Cavaliers were 17-1 dropping only one game to 3A Century playing in the state final for their respective class. Junior Kenley Kalbaugh, one of the best attacking players in Carroll County, quickly opened up the scoring for the Lady Cavaliers in the first half putting them up 1-0. In the second half Senior Anna Santacroce would knock the score up to 2-0 with an assist from Freshman Kaylee Mayr. With about 4 minutes left Kalbaugh would slot the ball to Santacroce, finishing it to get the score up to 3-0 sealing the deal for the Lady Cavaliers as 1A State Champions. Congratulations!
