Led by mostly underclassman, the Maurice J. McDonough girls’ soccer team had a good run in the fall 2023 season. Although the season ended in a loss to Patuxent High School, the team still ended with lots to be proud of, with a 10-4 record. This upcoming season, there is lots of talent that McDonough is excited to see grow, along with some strong players to watch. Rothmann (11g, 28pts), Moore (11g, 26pts), and Potter (8g, 23pts) will all be sophomores and are the leaders of the Ram’s offense. With the return of scoring talent, as well as strong defensive returners (Rollins, Burch, and Moore), the team is coming back with a lot of the same line up.
