Game MPSSAA REGIONAL CLASS 1A of round Round 3

A very solid high school baseball game by both teams. A few big situational moments offensively and defensively was the difference. Caleb Daniele drew a one out walk in the third, A HBP and a single got him to third. Pinch Runner Zach Concini tagged and scored on Hemelts sac fly to go up 1-0. A lead off single in the bottom of the fourth for polarki turned into a big out as he tried to stretch into a double but Jonah Vujanic threw him out at second. The next hitter hit a double that would have scored him. Shertzer ead off with a singe in the fifth and sole second, Vujanic sacrificed him to third and he eventually scored on a wild pitch. Later in the inning, Hemelt scored on a double steal attempt that caused a balk to make it 3-0. M Williams lead off the 7th with a double but Hemet was able to retire the next three. It was a great effort by Mike today who came back after starting a few innings for us on Saturday. Happy for this young group who set a goal to win this game when the season started. We are excited to set new goals moving forward. countysports.zone/scores/view/KGd8T9nF8KnIQDN64bu7B
