Springdale Prep and Archbishop Spalding (ASHS) delivered one of the most intense matchups of the night, with Prep pulling away late in overtime for a 71–69 victory after four tightly contested quarters. First Half ASHS set the tone early, controlling the pace throughout the first half. Strong defensive effort and timely buckets allowed Spalding to take a 31–26 lead into halftime, keeping Springdale Prep on its heels and forcing tough possessions. After Halftime Coming out of the break, Springdale Prep responded with increased pressure on both ends. ASHS still held a narrow advantage heading into the fourth quarter at 40–39, but momentum began to slip. With the flow slowing, #11 Braxton Bogard was reinserted and immediately brought energy back into the game, helping ASHS regain rhythm as the intensity rose. On the other side, Springdale Prep’s #10, along with #4 and #1, pushed the tempo and kept constant pressure on ASHS, creating scoring opportunities and forcing the defense to adjust. Fourth Quarter The fourth quarter was a grind. ASHS guard Nash Avery (#23) was locked in defensively, making life difficult for Prep late and setting the tone in crunch time. With under two minutes remaining, Springdale Prep’s #1 went down with an injury and had to be carried off the floor, silencing the gym momentarily. Despite the setback, regulation ended tied, sending the game into overtime. Overtime Springdale Prep came into overtime with urgency. #10 stepped up in the biggest moment, knocking down a clutch three to swing momentum. ASHS answered right back as Avery (#23) attacked the rim for a powerful dunk, keeping Spalding within striking distance. Prep’s #4 then showcased deep-range confidence, hitting timely shots as both teams traded blows. A late three by Spalding cut the deficit, but Prep’s execution down the stretch proved decisive.

The Fallston Cougars came up just short on a heartbreaking buzzer-beater, falling to Springdale Prep by a final score of 45–42.Fallston was led by an incredible performance from Brooke Bolesta, who recorded the first triple-double of her career with 16 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 blocks, dominating on both ends of the floor.Additionally, Marisa Dixon and Phaedra Michaelides each chipped in 9 points.
