This championship was about resilience and redemption from Archbishop Curley, as they overcame two previous losses to Saint Peter and Paul this season to win the championship against them 18-9. Curley’s defense was extremely aggressive, with midfielders and defenders often doubling the attacking player on the ball. This created turnovers and quick counterattacks that led to a 13-3 halftime lead. Archbishop Curley executed their gameplan to perfection and are very deserving of their third straight B conference championship. Congratulations to the Friars!
