Patterson Mill fell to North Harford 10-17 in the Huskies' first game of the regular season. Senior, Gavin Voelker had 17 saves in goal. Freshman, Nathan Sulkowski had 3 goals and 1 assist in his first high school game. His brother Tyler Sulkowski and fellow junior Cole Christian both had 2 goals and 2 assists. This was followed by two assists from Senior Jack Reid and one goal each from Ronan McCoy (Junior), Roberto Acenszi (Senior), and Brady Quinn (Senior). Huskies look to bounce back tomorrow for another home matchup vs Aberdeen.

In a match that had a number of varsity players out due to a field trip, North Harford managed to pull off a 9-2 win against Edgewood High School. North Harford had a number of first time wins at the varsity level; Zyan Diaz at number 1 boys singles, Colton Pietrowski and Kaleb Batchelder at number 2 boys doubles, Izzy Moaddel at number 1 girls singles, Mar Carranza Baide and Charlotte Clement at number 1 girls doubles, Marissa Smith and Monica Carranza Baide at number 2 girls doubles, and Alex Fallon and Heleyna Jackson at mixed doubles.

40–37, in a hard-fought battle. The Cougars were led by Maura Lawall with 13 points, followed by Brooke Bolesta, who recorded 10 points and 15 rebounds. In addition, Brooke Bolesta reached a major milestone, scoring her 1,000th career point during the game. Andrea Dorezas added 4 points, while Marisa Dixon and Kaylee Dillard each chipped in 4 points as well. -Matt Drzik

The Fallston Cougars defeated North Harford 43–30, extending their winning streak to five games.The Cougars were led by Brooke Bolesta, who dominated with 18 points and 15 rebounds, followed by Maura Lawall, who posted a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists. Kaitlyn Kasten also contributed 5 points, helping fuel the team’s balanced effort.

The Fallston Cougars dropped one to North Harford 47 to 45. The Cougars were led by Brooke Bolesta with 16 points and 16 rebounds followed by Phaedra Michaelides with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Andrea Dorezas chipped in 8 while Maura Lawall added another 6 points.

Harford Tech 72 North Harford 63 North Harford Hawks welcomed the scrappy team from Harford Tech and the game was not lacking excitement from tip off. A clinic was put on by the Hawks Jason Brady as he shot lights out, dropping 36 to lead the scoring. Mason Harvey complimented that air assault with 13 points of his own. However, the Cobras we're not to be denied as they led wire to wire with senior guard Zach Lane having a career night of his own with 25 points, assisted by Mateo "Taco" Hiett hauling in a career high 16 rebounds, to accompany his 12 points. Joel Dukes added 11 for the Cobras, as they took the win, in the hostile North Harford gymnasium.

Tonight the North Harford Hawks captured the regional championship with a double-overtime victory over C. Milton Wright. The game remained scoreless until there was less than 3 minutes in the second overtime, when freshman Debi Marin sent in a corner kick that senior Mia Honig finished for the golden goal. Cinderella story.

North Harford’s Lily Frank scored two goals for North Harford, one in the first quarter and one in the second. Bobcat, Amelia Mason scored in the third quarter on an assist from Avery Frank. In the fourth quarter Lila Hodgson scored on an assist from Amelia Mason. With no time left on the clock, playing out a corner, Annie Donahue scored for Bel Air.

Closely played match. CMW won 1st set 25-19. NH won 2nd set 25-20. CMW pulled away late in set three 15-12.

North Harford beat Aberdeen 5-0 this evening. Senior Mia Honig led the way with two goals. Brooke Raab (sophomore), Ella Morgan (junior), and Selena Holmes (freshman) each added one goal. Seniors Bailee Bender and Elena Ramirez had a couple of assists.

Coming off their first loss of the season, Aberdeen played North Harford at Aberdeen High on Tuesday night. Aberdeen scored first, with a goal from Bryndan Baker (assist from Tobi Dossou). A second goal was scored in the first half by Tobi Dossou from a throw in by Will Mcnicholas. NH scored late in the first half to make the score 2-1 Aberdeen at half. In the second half, both teams played even and created chance early. North Harford kept the pressure on Aberdeen for the first 15 mins in the second half. Luca Daniele (with an assist from Eric Dunca) scored for Aberdeen to make it 3-1. Aberdeen put the game out of reach with about 8 mins left, when Eric Dunca dribbled around the goal keeper (with an assist from Aidan Eichhammer). NH wouldn’t go away quietly and scored their 2nd with 5 mins to go. Aberdeen held on for the 4-2 win. They will travel to Joppatowne tomorrow 9/25, for a 330pm game.
