While Indian River jumped ahead early, Mardela took a two-point lead into the second with an aggressive half-court press, forcing turnovers and giving the Warriors fast-break opportunities. This led to a 26-7 run, allowing Mardela to build a double-digit lead by halftime, which they never relinquished.
