Tied Game
Chesapeake Math and IT girls’ soccer faced adversity this past season and was not able to see the results they were used to in previous years. CMIT won the regional championships and quarterfinals in 2021 and 2022, along with going to the state finals in 2021. The Tigers were, however, able to secure some good wins, including beating Frederick Douglas High School twice in the 2023 season, 7-0 the first round and 4-0 the second. CMIT will be losing five seniors but are looking to gain new talent during their tryouts this week from August 14th to 16th. The team is excited to see who is able to step up and help them move forward in a positive direction. The team motto that the CMIT Tigers preach is #CLIMB.
