Wow what a 5 set classic! Our Rams showed the grit and hustle we have shown all season long in this undefeated campaign. Sets went back and forth each so close but in the final set the Rams did what we did all year, we shut it down in a full team effort! Hats off to Sherwood for a hard fought game but sorry to say this is the year of the Rockville Rams your 2025 Coed Volleyball Champs!!!!!

Sherwood comes into this match undefeated at 11-0, riding a wave of dominance across the season. Their reputation has earned them both respect and resentment from other teams — many in the county are tired of seeing Sherwood crush opponent after opponent, and Churchill might just be the team hungry to take them down. Churchill, sitting at 10-1, is no underdog. They’ve had a nearly perfect season themselves and have the size, skill, and chemistry to challenge Sherwood head-on. They know Sherwood’s patterns, and they’ve likely been studying their film and looking for cracks. However, Sherwood’s depth, consistent teamwork, and experience under pressure have made them nearly untouchable this season. Unless Churchill can disrupt Sherwood’s rhythm with aggressive serving and smart defensive reads, Sherwood’s balanced attack is likely to push them through.

The Northwest Jaguars completed a perfect Co-Ed volleyball season, taking down Sherwood in the 2024 championship game. Northwest faced the Warriors to close the regular season, winning that matchup 3-1 as well. The Jaguars didn't drop a single set in the lead-up to the championship and finished the season with just three sets dropped all year en route to a perfect record. twitter.com/MCPSAthletics/status/1790906228085862526

In the 4th set Natalia Rodriguez started serving at 8-5 and served the next 15 points to help propel the Colonels to a 5th set. countysports.zone/scores/view/cTLXjZui40v4TF3rfd77Q
